Same to you, Mikes... You've created a few very nice planted tanks in your time and you're 14...

14! I remember when I was 14. That was 16 years ago. Very lovely, can't wait to see it fill in.

Looks excellent ,all the plants look very healthy. I think you are right on the id of the Rotala yeah its in very good condition.

The tank is starting to look good Corin.

I am not sure that your new plant is Rotala sp. "Nanjenshan", though. This is mine:

Your plant is most likely to be Mayaca fluviatilis.

Make sure you keep on top of the E. tenellus as well. It likes to visit every possible nook and cranny of the tank if it is left unchecked.

Dave.

I agree with Dave probably Mayaca. I had some of that, grew fairly well under my 1.5WPG and CO2, although the lower stems do lose their leaves quite quickly so you might need to prune it regularly to keep it bushy.

Sam

Thanks... The Tennellus is now starting to send out runners; I think all the plants are establishing well, though the older leaves on the Crypts are not doing so well (are they melting?)

If you replanted or moved things around, sometimes crypts will do that. They are hardy, but they can be twitchy. I wouldn't worry, though, they are virtually indestructable. I like the new Mayac, a nice touch.
