I know, I felt bad for making this thread but the first few times it was over 20 reactions (that was ok) but then there was a lot more... And like I said I'm the beginning, "I appreciated all the likes"
Yeah, I think we get what you are trying to say. Maybe next time pm a mod and ask them to talk 1 on 1 with the person. Don’t publicly call them out.

Yah, you have no idea how bad I felt about making a thread for this... It hurts a lot. I didnt want to PM the mods cause it was such a small little thing and I didnt want to be a whiner for the mods... I tried pming her cause I didnt want to make a thread about it. But next time I guess I will just PM a mod even though it feels weird.

I think you just have to decide if you want to see the reactions or not. If you want to know what people think of your posts (leaving it so you can see reactions), then whats the point of asking people not to react?

Well, when you just go through a thread liking all the posts with the same reaction, I feel its not needed. I dont mind a few likes on your favorite posts or the laughing one on funny things I've said, just not 70 times...

If you had 70 like or whatever notifications in a day I wonder if just maybe yer posting WAY to much!!! ;-)
No, these were posts I had done weeks before... I think they were just catching up with stuff Idk... Have I been posting too much you think?

He refused to answer on the grounds it might incriminate him!

I dunno....what do you think?
Or were just just bragging about how popular you are? LOL
No, I wouldnt brag... But on a serious note, do I post too much?

This might be a wrong way to look at things but I think if newer members (from the late 2010s to the early 2020s after reactions were implemented) have a large difference between their messages and their reaction score, they probably post too much with too little meaningful or helpful info. That's just my personal opinion though, and doubt many others share the same sentiment.

By your evaluation then, you have at least about 370 useless comments. Is this one of them?

(Also, it would mean I've had a bunch of good comments, but I've read many of your posts - most of which are much more useful than mine.)

If you're getting it sound notifications on your phone or computer you can also usually change those preferences in your settings so that it's silently notifies you or it doesn't send a pop-up notification on your device at all.
(Gotta love run on sentences) 🙃
