There are so many things I don't know about fishkeeping and I have been doing straight research for 3+ months. A big company should mention how that in most cases, that is not appropriate space for fish of that species. I understand they want the coolest and prettiest fishes to be shown when on tv, but they should say what a recommended tank size for them should be. Very misleading.

And its heartning to hear someone is researching rather than jumping in the deep end.
The thing that really got me was the seahorse. Many species of seahorses are endangered and should not therefore be kept in home aquaria at all.

I dun get it, they are teachin u to put together a saltwater tank, wat is bad about that? they just didnt cycle the tank

It is quicker to say what they are doing right in that clip.
Basically nothing!!!!!!
*Even marine nano enthusiasts are up in arms.
5 gallons is to small for a marine setup.
*Saltwater setups are not easy to keep yet they aim their product at children.
*It is impossibly overstocked
*Over a million seahorses are taken from the wild every year by the pet trade. It is believed that less than 1,000 survive longer than 6 weeks.
The death is usually slow and probably painfull
Seahorse stocks in the wild are seriously endangered (source: the seahorse trust)
There are many other things wrong with the clip to many to mention I will leave it up to someone else to have their say

i'm not sur eif min eis working!! the vidoe doesnt show anything aprt from them putting fish into a tank..... very confused doesnt the video work..???

its not the fact their putting the fish in the tank, its the size of the tank and number of fish they put in at once without cycling and disregarding the fact that seahorses shouldn't be kept in a tank with boisterous fish ie the clowns and tang.
whilst i dont agree with the fact that seahorses should be kept in aquaria, i realise that public (and some more experienced home) aquarium keepers can help the endangered stocks in the wild by breeding and selling as many species as they can, in fact i know at least 1 person in aberdeen is breeding seahorses and selling them to shops all over the uk.

It wont work on my computer says access denied or soemthing like that, what happens in it?
nothing happens in it,it is the fact that they are putting incompatable marine fish into a tank that is far to small and hasnt been cycled and saying "this is a fine thing to do,everyone go out and buy a load of fish and seahorses to murder".
If anyone here cant see a problem with that then they should get themselves another hobby.
