It sounds as if you have not done the water changes frequently enough. "Bettafix" is not going to help him. If anything it will stress him, so just do the water changes as suggested. You need to invest in a testing kit, as it could be he's going through an ammonia spike. Perhaps he was nipping his fins, the ammonia spiked and fin rot set in. If you test your water daily you will know for sure.

So I should test his ammonia then? I'll post results tomorrow.. afternoon.

Sorry, I've been really out of it lately. Havn't been getting enough sleep the whole week. I'll probably feel better by Sunday when I've had LOTS of rest.
Didn't have any time today, but of course, since it's saturday, I should tomorrow.

I haven't tested the rest yet, but I should, maybe, later.
