I haven't been on much lately due to my work schedule. My wife and I have both gotten back on keto to shed our coronavirus/quarantine weight and in the past two weeks we have shed a total of 27 pounds combined. I have 45 to go and she has 20 to go. Does anyone else do keto?

This morning we went "Black Friday" shopping at Walmart. Due to COVID-19, they are staggering the sales over the next few weeks. While there we got to talk to four of Millersburg's finest and our kids loved talking to them and asking them a million questions about being an officer. When we left our daughter asked if she could buy her, her brother and the officers some creamsticks from one of the local Amish owned bakeries called Jitter's (these things are so good that they are practically their own food group!). I know, cliche, but who DOESN'T love donuts?! She bought each officer, her brother and herself two creamsticks a piece and we drove back to Walmart so she could deliver them. She is completely selfless and it made me so proud seeing her share the love with her brother and four complete strangers.

Aww! You're daughter is so sweet!

She is. She only thinks about others.

She sold a bunch of her toys (hard to find, in demand dolls) the other day that she no longer played with. Made $230 (I never had that much money at 6 years old!). She wanted to spend it all on her little brother, baby cousin and a Christmas present for us. We told her to hold on it, but let her spend a little. She bought her brother a bunch of candy and a toy dinosaur, her cousin some baby toys and only got herself a Pez dispenser. We can't wait to take her to Vegas (hopefully this coming year since our trip was canceled this summer due to COVID-19). She has been dying to go and she deserves it.

What a sweetheart!

I have been helping my grandma move the past few days, that’s why I haven’t been on the forum.

It finally froze this morning at 28 F. Man is it cold outside!

What do you wear on your feet without getting frost bite?
Last time I’ve been to Japan it was -16 F and my toe gone a bit black...scary isn’t it?

Merino wool shrinks if put in the dryer. I put a merino wool shirt in the washer and then the dryer and ruined it.

I think that's true of any wool, isn't it? I think my socks have a bit of synthetic in them that makes them machine washable/dryable.
