I wouldn’t think drums in a fish room would not be good. They say not to tap on the glass because it’s like thunder to the fish. I can only imagine what the drums would be...earthquake???
More like the earth being ripped apart around them. Me shutting my window a little too hard makes my fish jump.

...How much does one piece of dragon stone weigh (roughly)? The shop I'm getting it on does £3.99 per kg but I don't know any rough estimate of how many pieces/how big the pieces might be.
If anyone could help out that'd be really cool lol.

I have 3 large ish pieces of dragon stone and 2 smaller ones, I can put up pictures So you can see the size! It was between 10 and 15 pounds for all of it, which I believe would be around 6 kg. They were about 3 to 4 pounds each on the larger ones and 1 to 2 pounds each on the smaller ones about

Here is a photo of my dragon stone in a 10 gallon tank. The fizzy water can is for size reference (was also a yummy drink, so win win)

Well... I would imagine lots of vibration would be lost in the thick carpet. Now if the drums were right next to the tanks, I definitely wouldn’t play them.

Mine were around 6 feet away from any tank.

My LFS sells dragon stone for $2/lb, which would be £1.66.

Buying hardscape is expensive, but it’s well worth it IMO.

I’m going to have to buy live rock, that costs $6/lb!! (For my saltwater tank - I’ll make the base of the reef out of dry rock [which is less expensive per pound], then add some fuplie expensive live rock on top)

My LFS sells dragon stone for $3 a pound! Sounds like you both have some good prices near you!
Think I should buy it in store or online? I don't want to get less than I was hoping for and then end up overpaying for it.

They lay eggs but the eggs don't hatch. Assuming you have a male and female of the same species.
