Rams

I currently have a pair of german blue rams. They got along fine and seem to be a pair. I have a 55 gallon community tank. I just bought 2 blue rams (male and female) and added them to the tank. Now the rams seem to all chase each other. Are they just getting used to the new fish or would there be a problem?

If their not harming eachother (physically), then you can wait it out for a week or two and see what happens.

The older rams are probaly just trying to defend their curent territory (i.e.the whole tank).

Try rearranging the tank and let both pairs re-establish their boundaries.

My male often chases my female but at othr times they get along fine. Rams display very interesting behaviour for such little fish, true chiclids!
