You may answer Yes or No simply but heres the situation

My gran has 3 big boys (dunno what they are) and a 4" (id say) rainbow shark in a 4 foot tank.

now im thinking will the shark be ok with my Betta because he does just plod along at my nans

However my tank is only 10G?

cheers
steve

sound, to small a tank? not compatible? or both?

A 4 inch fish can be a threat to your betta. A typical betta tank is also far too small for a fish that size.

Rainbows need at least a 4 foot tank.

Quite chunky fish and is a territorial bottom dweller.

I was mislead into buying a.roseline shark ....killed q bunch of my red cherry shrimp before it was killed by the betta

its strange i had my old betta with my feather fin cat the cat would eat my other fish (ripped fins not lit eaten) but it wouldnt touch my betta lol but since then have learnt more and i now agree no flesh eating fish :p
