Quite a scare!

Last night while I was trying to fall asleep, I kept hearing someone jumping in the 29 gallon... *splash*..... *splash*.......... *splash--THUNK*
Twice I got up to check on everyone and they were fine, but the third time I found Euchrid, my African butterfly fish, on the floor with a piece of moth in his mouth . There's a relately small opening in the back of the tank lid to allow room for the filter, and Euchrid shot right through it.
He's perfectly fine, but I had to cover the opening with a pair of jeans until I can buy a new lid, haha

Well Synirr - thats another fish to check has'nt jumped from his tank. You have a selection of very acrobatic fish there.

Lucky this time , my Son has 3 so far no jumpers .What do you feed yours ?

Actually, 2, one may have jumped If it did, the stupid cat probably got to it before I could find it (Dead or alive)

We lost 2 (we think - never found one) to jumping and so just have two left now. One of them has to be rescued from the sump about once per month...

I don't know how they do it with ours because they'd either have to jump up and then change their angle of movement out or escape from a completely enclosed sump
