How long cn pleco's last out of water so i can get a gd pic of mine?

Well my common pleco jumped out of the tank once before and was out of water for at least 10 minutes but a good rule to follow is "never keep a fish out of water for more than 60 seconds."

Don't worry ill just take a pic of him in the tank,

Or you could just put him in a bag of water and take the pic.

Good Idea he is a ***** to catch though!

All you have to do is chase him to the front and then take you hand and pick him up (gently), thats what I do.

I got a better rule of thumb. Don't take any fish out of water unless your transfering them in different water
What you should do is get a clear container add some tank water to it and add the pleco to it and take your pic. It might work for ya.

Bit of a shame he is nocturnal really, although after lights out last night he was haveing a right feast on my logs!
