**Question of the week** | What is your favorite aquarium plant, and why?

We all love planted tanks, I know I do! There are so many aquatic plants out there, it would be impossible to easily name them all.

So the question is: What is your favorite aquarium plant, and why?

You may choose a plant that you don’t keep or one that you do keep! It can expert, beginner, big, small, or tall.

I’ll go first:

Dwarf Baby Tears (Hemianthus callitrichoides)

Ooooo dwarf baby tears, good choice!

My favorite is either Amazon Sword or Water Sprite! I love the broad leaves and bright color of the Amazon Sword, and I love the lacy, delicate appearance of the water sprite. Oh but I also love Ludwigia! I don’t think I could choose lol

I had good growth on hornwort until my severum ate it all but my Amazon swords are all ripped up with holes in them and they still grow and soldier on lol

Elodea densa. No idea why. Just looks really nice when it's healthy and bright green. Also pretty fond of most sword plants...

totally, but it is sooo hard to keep...
i will get some and hopefully snail likes it

my snails don't eat it just rest on it occasionally as well as my fish

awesome. there's an asian store with cheap ones so i will totally get some.
but i have a hood... still deciding
maybe i just keep it in vase
