Question (BOTM)

I think you should be able to enter the auction pic, since the betta is in your possesion.

I agree in theory, however, what about all the people who have beautiful bettas that weren't from an auction? Doesn't seem fair that I would enter a professional picture and others can't.

True,true. But....those pictures aren't really professional. It's not like the have a photgrapher come in and take photos of each fish for sale, they just have practice under their belts (and a good camera in their hands ) But I see what you're saying. I think one member had one in the running and there was so much heckling he pulled out.

Well, I know pitbulls won't win any beauty contests.....

if everyone was to put up 1 of their bettas the competition would be nuts..

there would be like 40 pics in each botm..

why not have individual categories?

HM/Delta

plakat/short finned

CT/DT

Females/veiltails

then the winners of all those face off in the finals?

everyone could submit 1 picture only.. NOT 1 for each category, but 1 period.

females and veiltails usually get overlooked... thats why they got their own category

im not talking about having VTOTM PLAKATOTM..

there will still be only 1 betta of the month..

but the voting will start in separate categories..

winner of each category goes into the BOTM finals..

1 HM/DELTA

1 plakat/short finned

1 CT/DT

1 female/veiltail

that would be the finals... 4 fish.. 1 from each category..

errm, I think we should all be thankful we have a BOTM contest at all ,they used to compete with the FOTM entries.

i never really thought about the BOTM competition until someone brought this up...

its not like im complaining about the way it is now...

its just now that everyone is posting their opinions everyone thinks there can be improvements made...

even if it stays the same i dont care...

i just thought id add my 2 cents
