I was think about spilting my 2.5g and have the betta thats in there on one side then the betta I have in the 1/2g on the other side and I was wondering how good plastic canvas was for spiltting a tank and if you use it if a betta has ever gotten over it before?

I've used it and yeah, it liked to fall down. If you cut notches in the rim of the tank to hold them in place- it might work. I've found that the large sheets of canvas make excellent lids for grow out tanks

Well the 2.5g is a minibow tank with the slots in the middle. Will it fit in there and will it fall or anything?

As long as you cut it correctly it should fit perfectly, and it won't fall over because it fits in the slots.

Good! :D Now the betta in the 1/2g won't be cold and will have more space. Now where can I get it at?

I dont know about hardware stores but craft stores do but they would probaly be more expensive than at stores like walmart.

You can get them at pretty much any hobby store.... as they are made for embroidery, I don't think hardware stores would carry them

Ok I have another question. My grandmother thinks something will leak out into the water and kill them is it possible? Also is it easy to cut, like could it be cut by a pair of scissors?

i poured boiling water over the platic before i put it in my tanks to make sure no chemicals would leak out, and it's very easily cut with scissors - it's soft plastic.

Really? Great! Here I was getting all worried that I wouldn't be able to cut it. So just pour hot water over it first right? Alrighty then thanks alot. :D
