question about chichilids

ive read that Flag, orange, and keyhole cichlids stay farley small...i havent had any so i cant tell you positivly if they do it could have been false info

Unfortunately the word 'peaceful' is not in the African cichlid dictionary. Some new world species like Keyholes are very docile though.

What kind of setup were you thinking of?

Actually there are some peacful Cichlids... but no African Cichlids that I know of... correct me if I am wrong.

i have a 10 gal im looking to put small, peacful chichilid in, i heard that kribensis are peaceful and stay small

Peaceful... not really, they will get aggressive when breeding and protect their territory, but they are otherwise not outwardly aggressive, and a pair will work in a 10 gallon, though it is a bare minimum and doesn't allow for much in the way of other fish.
