anyone else use these? i just orederd the 25 footer, cuz my 55 is almost done and fig it would be a whole lot easier filling and doing water chgs.hows the suction on these? we have decent water pressure here, hope it fits to faucet it should i have the male threads standard size on the faucet on my sink to attch, PYTHON said an adaptor wont be nessesary..SOOOOOOOO i was just wundering how many of u guys/gals use these and any input would be appreciated, mine was back oredered till the 6th but got it cheap $21.95....

I depend on my python, I do about 100 gallons of water changing every week. It works well and it's easy. Suction all depends on water pressure of course.

I've got one and love it. I've got a 25ft that I use with my 55 gal. As far as draining, I use the faucet to start the syphon but then I actually disconnect the hose from the sink and drain the water into my flower beds in front of my house. I don't see any point in constantly running the water while I am draining when a syphon will work just as well. I can see the benefit to using this feature if I was having to drain to a higher location than the tank where a regular syphon wouldn't work.

For filling it is great. I leave the hose disconnected while I get the water temp correct. Then reconnect the hose and fill. You can just add your dechlorinator directly to the tank when you start filling. The chemical works instantly as it comes in contact with water containing chlorine.

Hope yours works out as well for you as mine has for me.
