Putting Toys In Tank.

Hi all,

My nephew has just had a new tank. He loves it.
He wants Pixar Cars ornaments as he is obsessed with it. I can't find any anywhere. 

Is it possible to put the actual toys in there as ornaments? 
If so, what do I need to be aware of?

Simple answer, No.
 
Why?
 
Because you do not know what the toys are made of or the type of paint used for example, the plastic may leach plasticisers the paint may be toxic and the metal parts may rust.

Here's an idea to appease your nephew, 
 
Take a picture of the "Car" online and print it, take it to a local print shop and have them laminate it (or print and laminate) leaving space around to keep the seal and the paper from getting wet. Have them use the thickest laminate they have, then you can stick it in the substrate, however it may "flap in the current"
 
This way you get the "look" without the "risk" and your nephew is happy. 
 
Some small advice from a little print shop

Another idea, 
 
Find an all plastic frame, or a hockey card sleeve,
 
After laminating it, stick it in there to keep the rigidity of the paper and ability to stand up in the tank
