Hi all I am new to this forum. Just to let you know I am a tropical fish fanatic. After four years I have managed to breed a fancy guppy that is just purple. It is a shiney purple just like the blue in a neon. I have seven 300 gallon tank a ten 20g tanks and eleven 10g tanks for breeding. This is the best looking guppy I have ever seen. I have eight of them and hope to breed more. In my 300g tanks I have assortments of tropical fish but in the one I just have clown loaches. I breed them with ease. Clown Loaches are the funniest fish to watch. In a tank with about two hundred of them they just "clown" around all day. Some spin on their noses others try balance pebbles on their noses. I try to keep my live beares together and my egg layers seperated for best results. I hate real living plants. I have forests of plastic plants and they work well.

My show tank in my lounge is a 55g tank and it has many fish and looks good. I must put some pics up soon.

cough < lies > cough ....................... seriously though < cough > id love to see how you spawn your clown loaches , very difficult ive heard , in fact , never done in captivity , interesting indeed

me too. There has been way too many in the past week. :(

Lol - usualy I don't bother posting on threads like this - but this one made me laugh - I'd love to see the clown loaches 'balancing pebbles on their noses' - how cute!!!

Checked out another post this guy made where he keeps two male bettas together in a 10 gal and they dont bother each other definately someone who doesn't have a clue.

yeah, 1x 300gallon tank is expencive and time worth, let alone 7, plus the rest of the 20 tanks!!!

Its a huge lie.

A better way to lie is to build up to it slowly, tell people you have a fish room, but not what tanks you have in it, and don't make a post listing your accomplishments, I must admit, I believed you up untill you said "It is a shiney purple just like the blue in a neon." Simply because of the fact that a heavy component of the shimmer of neons is that there is a relatively thick clear layer ontop of the stripe, were as guppies do not have that layer in the same proportion, Also, if you were a major breeder you would have a digital camera, and document all of your fish, because thats how you make money and gain noteriety for them.

Note that this bloke, with his seven 300 gallon tanks, is able to breed all the difficult fish: clown loaches, neons, cardinals- but finds it beyond him to keep a few plants alive, so has to recommend plastic.
