it can be done but you have to mimick (sp) the conditions from the river they live in, such as rain with a shower head or at least thats what i read it would be far to much work for anyone that has a job or life and even full time breeders dont do it because its too much work and even if he did get them to breed the fry are supposed to be really really hard to keep alive

i have been reading a lot of the posts on this site and looking at ppls pictures and it is absolutley crazy the amount of fantastic fish u have available compared to the limited amout we have over here! lucky u guys

oh , my bad. the site i use for profiles < mongabay.com > says never accomplished , and that all rumours of breeding in fish farms are unproven , they could be wrong though

There are no documented proven cases of clown loaches having been bred in captivity without the use of hormone stimulants and it is agreed by most experts that it is highly unlikely that they would spawn in home aquaria.

Just a quick few points before this gets closed down:

1. Poo-for-brains newbies like this guy get their kicks from lots of people discussing their lies and wasting time/effort. Therefore we are all (me included) fuelling his sicko habit. Let's stop it.

2. I agree that more active mods are required. Let's face it - there are enough of you experts out there to spot this happening within a post or two and notify a mod. Then the mod can close the thread quickly and deny the weirdo their pleasure.
