I agree. It depend what you're looking for. If you're looking for a multimedia centre (and crappy games, IMO ) get a PSP. If you're looking for a really good, innovative gaming experience, get the DS.
They didn't try to make the DS anything it isn't. The PSP all of a sudden it's a video player and a music player and bah, I like my devices to do one thing and do it well. The DS is it. Plays games. Plays good games. Plays good games well!! Everything I want. I already have a TV to watch TV on. I already have a laptop to watch DVDs on. I already have an iRiver to listen to music on. Why would I want to put those things in my portable game player? It would just bulk it up.
And I still can't understand why anyone would want to watch movies on a 3 inch screen.
But to each their own. It's a matter of preference. But for ME it's a no-brainer.
DS:
cheaper
better games (I have a list of 30 that I want to buy!!!)
more sturdy
PSP:
expensive
only one game that I want
fragile as hell! It looks like yuo have to spend more time taking care of it than playing games on it!
