Project 'bowl'

So i come home to a very nasty bowl, i have just finished cleaning up the bowl, wood and rocks, most of the plants are mush, and are un-savable, the few endlers that were still swimming in the murk have been moved to another tank.

Good lord....the smell is horrendous!

So this will now start from scratch again....stay tuned

  Oh no!

Horrible way to come home!
Good Luck, though.

Yeah it wasnt pleasent

Considering my son cared for all my tanks while i was away, and this was the only loss, i can deal with it. And it was not my sons fault, i forgot to put a label on the bowl to let him know what to put in and when, which is what i did with all the others. So the result of my forgetting the bowl, meant it got major over fed, turning it into a soupy mess.
My son though, i have to give kudos to....as he has absolutely no idea on fish tanks.....the other tanks are all looking great. He even hand fed my goldies, LOL.

How old is your son?

That really sucks for your bowl ecosystem, but at least those endlers are ok! you should have a go at keeping dwarf puffers! as they are very nice aquascape fish! (not sure your bowl is big enough though)

We dont have dwarf freshwater puffers here :(

Waiting for next trim from the 3ft lol
