I have an anemone that keeps move towards my filters and attaching him self in the oddest places like today when i woke up he was in were you hook up a air tube to your power head. No idea how he got there, the current is to strong for him to move up there. Any idea's?? i dont' know what kind he is exactly. he is bubbly white with purple tips. any one help please

how is he moving into the current, wouldn't he blow away in the water???? Maybe one of my fish are dragging him around???

nems have like a foot that can grasp onto things therefore they dont just fly around the tank

so he must be moving around when the lights go out good to know. might need to take him back to the lfs, since he is just goin to off him self some how lol.

Many do off themselves un-fortunately, and you know why now. They can have tremendous strength in their foot. It might be searching for conditions which better suit it, ie. Lighting, but many have been known too just pack up and kill things on their excursions for no apparent reason.

How large is your tank and what kind of lighting do you have? SH

If your nem moves a lot then he isn't happy, he is trying to right conditions for himself - flow, light etc. is your powerhead intake covered? Please make sure it is as they can get sucked in and mashed up by the fan, NOT nice or good for the nem!
