i have hatchlings! not a lot of them but a few are hatching and falling! daddy is picking them up, i'll most likely remove him soon. i didn't usualyl wiat for the full 3 days (i take him usually after day 1 or in 12 hours )

Yea, I've never had to leave dad in for 3 days after they hatch, my spawns have always become free swimming after only 1.5 days.

yeah i have a feeling if i wait too long daddy will get hungry i never wanted to take the chance.

Most of the fry are swimming by around 2 days or so thanks linda
