Pregnat Mickey Mouse Platy!

I have just realized that my platy is pregnat! I am a beginner and I have never had fish before. My platy seems pregnat because she has these little black dots around her three bottom fins. The dots seem to have little tails. Her eyes seem really big and she looks like she might explode! I'm worried and I have never done this before. Please help! Any advice you can give would be great!

my platy was pregnant too but I just let nature take its course and found seven healthy babies under one of my rocks, as long as you have plants or hiding places for the babies some will survive, sometimes fish may die of stress when they are pregnant so make sure that the water conditions are prestine, if you would like to kepp all the babies you can buy a ten gallon tank and put her in it for the babies to be born and then put back, i fed my baby platies crushed flakes but infurosia works too

As the gestation period for mollies isn't very long, i would keep an eye out under rocks and plants for fry. I would also buy a breeding tap to put in your tank, just for when, or if, you find fry. You can remove them from the tank and let them grow in the trap until they are big enough not to be eaten.

Be careful when you are removing the fry. You can get special nets with no holes in so they are not deprived of oxygen when you are moving them. This will cause less stress and damage!
