Husband got some new fish for our aquarium but we never had swordtails before and I believe these two are pregnant. If so how far along are they? So I can plan to separate them to another tank we have. Tried my best in photos.

Yes they are both pregnant

Into a breeder box? A different tank? What size thing are you thinking of moving them too?

I wouldn’t move them at all. You look like you have a well planted tank for the fry to hide. Your fist lady has a little more time, your 2nd girl has a few days to a week I reckon she is pretty big and starting to square off. You will know when they are in labour as they will go and sit and hide by them self. You can net the fry as Mumma pops them out or leave them but some will get eaten. One of my girl pops her babies out and quickly turns around and gobbles them up.

Thank you! Let’s hope we have a few survivors

I reckon you will, you have 2 pregnant girls there will be quite a few survivors. Just keep the mums well feed so they are not tempted to eat them. My girl is just a little piggy. Probably the zebra danios that I can see in the picture (please correct me if I’m wrong) maybe ones to watch too. I have guppies and they are not bothered by the fry. My blue eyes are my ones that have a bit of a feed on the fry but it’s good as they get the weak and help with over populating
