The pets at home thing really annoyed me but in all honesty there is only 2 big retail fish chains in the UK so its bound to come 1st or second

I found it interesting that they have done their best to ignore the maidenhead shops this year. Only 1 is in the top 20 shops (Ill post the top 40 shops when I can be bothered to type it out) and not one won its area category. Cant believe they didnt get a look-in in the Wales section, the Cardiff shop is the best shop ive ever been in.

Tri-mar have one of the worst websites i've seen in ages, a ten year old could do better... :/

glad to see hagen up there i have three of their tanks and three filters, cant say ive had much trouble with them, and tri-mar used to be really good, then they went down in my view, fish i ordered where not anything special, and their website is a disgrace, di

Oh I agree. I heard all these wonderful things about them, saw they had the fish I wanted, but I just couldn't get past that website!

Enquiry by e-mail is harder than extracting blood from a stone, from my limited Trimar experience, as in they have never answered more than one question per e-mail. Not to mention they told me a certain species of fish was out of stock with no details of new arrivals, yet that same species has remained on their website list the whole time, some two months later.

My local coming 5th, not bad. Been there today actually. Number 13 is a good store too.

James.

Ferrybridge is a very good shop and Im glad it came second

Went there about 3 months ago, Got talking with the boss who I told Id come for a look round after hearing good reviews and he gave me a full tour of the shop showing me all the tanks and ended up chatting for about half an hour.
