I have some single walled boxes with loads of bubble wrap and some 150 guage fish bags, i add a small drop of stress coat to the water before posting and they have been fine even in last years cold weather, do you really think i need heat packs? where i live at the moment temp is around 8 degrees celcius its just times are hard and heat packs are expensive and i dont really wanna bump up postage.

Any help would be great

Might be 8c where you are but i doubt its that warm in royal mail warehouse at this time of year more like 0c :good:

next day delivery and plenty of heat packs... if you really cared you would use them

The majority of fish I have had posted to me have been in stone cold water even with a heat pack added, most heat packs lose effectiveness when placed in a box as they really need to be exposed to air, I still use a heat pack if posting in winter though but try to avoid doing so and will wait for the warmer months, what kind of fish will you be posting? some are hardier than others, the sorting office should be warmer than the outside temperatures I would have thought, just make sure you use special delivery and inform the buyer you will not be using a heat pack or they may not be too happy if they expected one.

what type of heat pack? 12 hour or 24 hour? obvious really but just checking

Heatpack at all times IMO.
So does this mean you'll post to me?

Drop me a PM when your ready to send them. Looking forward to getting them.

ok im gonna wait till there all ready before i buy the heat packs so i can make my money back fast cuz im skint at the moment but arnt we all!!!
