Woooow! Everyone's tanks here are so beautiful, I almost don't want to post mine.
...
But I'll never learn anything that way!
Here is my first ever tank, a 10g "zen" tank before it had anything but decoration in it, I was a virgin aquascaper.
And here it is today after changing the gravel (went with something smaller) and doing some rearranging. Yes, I'm still new to this and all the plants are fake. I adore the look of planted tanks, but I'm notorious for killing my houseplants already.
Also, no pretty bubble effect this time, as my new AD frogs have taken over the little dojo and I don't want to scare them. The little bamboo decoration was removed as well after I got my Betta, I was afraid he would catch his fins on it.
But... since he decided to try to make a snack out of my mystery snail, Darby has since gotten an aquarium all to himself. I didn't have room for much, so he's been transferred to a 3g Eclipse system in the bedroom. My fiance picked out the decoration, and the plant is one that was originally going to be in the 10g but didn't look right. However, it's a nice silk one, so it's perfect for him to rest on.
I wonder if I should put the bamboo decoration back in the 10g now that Darby has a place of his own. What do you all think?
