Post Your Nano Reef Pix

Looks great..keep in mind the clearance at the top when you do water changes. Kudos. SH

Clearance? Anyways, when I was moving around my rock, I stepped on my glass hood and broke it! So I was kind of mad and since then I can't keep up topping off water. I have a little DIY thing but the water evaporates faster then it goes in. _CF

I upgraded my tank :D I had a 10 gal nano as some of you might have remembered lol Well I got a new tank and some new lights and it's so aweosme. :D The tank is only a 25 gallon, but it's 20" deep so i think i'm going to upgrade the 150 watt Mh in the fixture to a 250 watt, but i have to buy a new ballest too. I need to still buy about 20lbs more LR. I'm going to build up the right side higher than what i have it on the left, i'm trying to get a cool valley look in the middle. The 2 green chromis and the percula are going to the LFS tomarrow. Once i'm done i the fish i will have are my blue damsel, royal gramma, my dwarf fuzzy lion (my husband brought it home for me and so far so good, he's only 1 1/2" so he will be moved to his own tank when he gets about 4") and a maroon clown. So 4 fish. The total system is about 40 gal. Hope you like.

Here is my 10 gal before the transfer

Thats a really nice looking tank. Just be aware that deeper tanks tend to have less oxygen exchange and thus it can be depleted of oxygen far faster than tanks with the same volume but less height. If you van get another powerhead or set up the flow so that the surface is agitated then this should help overcome any problems you may face in the future (hopefully they will never arrise)

Although it may be aesthetically unpleasing, microbubbles have not been shown to be harmful to fish or inverts. SH
