btw yes, parts of the anubias are from these plants for sure...along with like 9 other plants I have now.
The one in the middle, the big mess is Najas guadalupensis. I recommend it way more than hornwort that i used to have, that one is like a little girl. What is the large grass mossy type plant in the second picture? Java moss?
Similar situation though closer to 50 years for me. I don't dare post my tanks now because they are both a mess. My display tank is getting new fine gravel/sand (2mm gravel) soon, if successful I will post a picture.I don't have pictures of my first tank. That was about 55 years ago, lol.
Learning is all part of it.Ah geez. My first ever tank was a 1.5 gallon I bought at a garage sale for $1. It uh… worked. But at the time I thought it was the coolest thing ever.View attachment 169074

I’m actually still using it as a guppy fry tank, I was gonna use it for an axolotl legality be danged, but I couldn’t keep the water cold enough during the trial summer, all my tanks reaching 86° With kids and lights off. So. Yeah. My hopes for an axolotl were scrapped. This is it right now: View attachment 169076
I’ve gotten a few more tanks since my first little gallon. So I have 6.5 technically 7 tanks but the 7th is a 3 gallon used for newborn fry who can’t survive their older siblings yet.
