I might have to look into plakats. It breaks my heart to see them destroys themselves. Poor ice will never look the same again I fear. his poor tail is still a mess. And the weird thing ig, they are still building bubble nests for me!

That is the part I don't understand. Why would such a happy, bubble nest building betta, eat himself.

Usually it is because of stress, but don't you have your bettas in 10 gallons tanks, I couldn't see how a Betta would be stressed with a heated, cycled, 10 gallon tank to himself, possibly because the tail is getting to heavy?

I just dropped an algae wafer in for the Oto's & corys & the girls seem to love them.
The pic doesn't really show the colours to their best advantage, but one is almost purple, another is blue/green & the other is an aquamarine colour

ace is also bigger then the one in my sig (fenikksus) and Ace is younger too lol hes huge but all the blue vt's ive seen in my lfs over the year the blue ones have been larger all the time then the reds
