Possibly the greatest fishfood ever

My dad went research fishing with some friends (Seriously, it is reseach), and they caught 51 chad, a type of stream fish. They needed 50 for research, but my dad kept one. It was a female, and had almost a POUND of eggs in it's ovaries. They're my new favorite fishfood, for convenience, nutrition (they're a bit high in protein but otherwise they have everything fish need) and the fish love them. I think I'm going to stick to the eggs, blanched peas and a bit of flake food for the morning feeding when I don't have time to go cook peas or get eggs out of the freezer.

Are you sure you don't mean Shad? I heard of fish called shad, but not a chad.
