Hello,
I was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions about the best way to deal with the possible Ich?
Like previous posts i was wondering what the best course of action would be...so far my hatchet fish
one rainbow and my black phantoms have the speckle like white patterns on their bodies.
Would I be best removing these from the tank into a quarantine tank (however reading other posts
the infection/bacteria (whatever its called) drops off so it could be a possibility of the
gravel and the bottom of the tank being already effected.
So would it be sensible to remove the healthy fish, or could they already be carrying or have the problem?
I am planning to raise the temp to 30, but i have a number of snails and shrimps so i shall have to remove
them to do that too...
To be honest i dont know what to do for the best, as the parasite can attatch itself to plants and other ornaments,
woods, and gravel. So it seems sensible to treat the whole tank, which again have copper based which would affect
the snail and shrimps.... so they would have to be removed.
arh, i am sorry for my indecisive approach to this topic, however i really do not know what to do...
any help would be appreciated...
