yep i agree, just cannibalise the glass, or even better give it a gentle tap with a hammer, call your insurance company and tell them that whilst moving your "pride and joy" you accidentally damaged it

The tank is now in 4 pieces. It didn't take much to open it up either. I reckon it wouldn't take much to re seal and put it back together but it's the 5mm glass thats putting me off.

Yep, I think I like weeza's idea of using it as baffles or bubble stops for a future sump.

I'll try and get a pic up of the 'over' sealed corner up later.
