Poor Bird

A bird got trapped on my screen in porch during a severe thunderstorm just now, and when I tried to scare it out the door, it flew off towards the back of the porch, slammed its head into the screen, and broke it's neck. Then my dog jumped on it, but i pulled her off... Now she's laying down dead on my deck. I'm going to move her after the storm...

EDIT: Wow... 2 hours later it stood up, and flew away... im scared

lol, we get this all the time.

We hear a *thud* on the window, and we're like "oh look another bird has flown into the window" but we just leave them and they fly off in a few minutes, we're used to it now.

They just knock themselves out for a bit....pretty cute

Poor thing

My friends mom worked in a high rise building, and she would always have birds thunking against her window. She said it scared her the first 5 or 6 times until she figured out what the heck is was lol

Oh gosh, that reminded me of a time when me and fiance (well bf at the time).. had just left the house.
We were riding down the road and all of a sudden BAM, a bird flew full force right into the window on my side.
It scared the ever living bejebus out of us. That bird could've done some seriuos damage if I had had that window down b/c it hit VERY hard.
Unfortunatly though it didn't just knock itself out. It did kill itself
