Thank-you!!! I'll post about him later tonight. I have to try not to get TOO attached to him...but hey, she can go get her own betta! Just kidding. ;) LoL

There were only 6 bettas left
Which I guess is a good thing...thats if they went to a nice homes.
The red guy was gone :-(
BUT, the ones left were healthy :) No poop in their cups either. So I picked up each one and studied them...trying to pick out one my friend would like the best. This one guy stared straight at me the whole time...so I brought him home. Everybody else looked pretty healthy and happy so for once I didn't feel guilty that I couldn't take all of them with me. The one I picked out is a bright blue and he has red ventral fins...atleast I think thats what they are called. He has a tiny bit of crowntail in him too. He has no finrot, no split fins, no scales missing or anything. I kind of feel guilty though, about bringing home a "healthy" one that will get taken soon when there could of been one that will sit there and suffer...but there weren't any like that! I tested for ammonia in his cup and it was at about .50 ppm but I guess thats not too bad. So far he's ate a bloodworm, but has spit out pellets and now I'm trying flakes because thats what they were getting fed in the store and he didn't have any "leftovers" in his cup so I'm assumming he liked them. I should just let him get settled in first though. Oh yah and he's in a 1 gallon tank but I don't have any silk plants for him, I think he'll do without that though for the time being. Other then that....thats about it. My parents weren't a bit happy about me buying him from Walmart when all I do is complain about the fish at Walmart and they think I'm just giving them more money...so I don't know if I'll be doing that again. But I could always bring home the betta and say I got it from the LFS ;)
