Polluted river

Its a very fast river and many bodies are found due to various reasons, but im gonna leave it at that
The Kentucky River is very big and fast, but surprisingly not much trash. Just the occasional stick or trash bag. :good:

When I was a kid we lived in a small village not far from here and there was a creek that ran through it. The water was only 2-3 feet deep but very clear and there was a pike that would swim slowly hunting. He was very cool to watch and you could clearly see his teeth he was about 2-21/2 feet long. He hung around in that part of the creek so it was easy to find him.

That's terrifying. I could not handle fish like that at all

I was on honeymoon in Denmark swimming in the gorgeous lake and found myself surrounded by fish. Absolutely flipped out

I love nature but like, over there, at a distance. I don't think we've any huge or unusual fish in our rivers here. Though they are scenic

(Internet pic of my local river.)
Wow, that's beautiful. You got me curious, so I did some looking and found this. Looks like you have pike in Ireland, a close relative of muskellunge. Not quite as huge, but still pretty big!

Pike and Muskllunge are very sought after trophy fish. (As they put up a very strong fight)

We can cling together and pretend to be bigger than we are, NC.
Just punch it in the nose it works for Sharks! (I can’t believe people actually say to do that. Have you ever tried to punch in the water? It’s like punching through Jellow... :dunno: )

My mom's family fish a lot in Rivers but I wouldn't know anything about it. That picture if the different fish would look great as a poster for a play room though... Nice find.

I'm not too far from the wild Atlantic way. It's a really lovely stretch of coast well worth visiting.

You'd punch total teeth, no nose haha
You punch those teeth, you lose an ARM!!!
Nah, not that big a deal. It just requires the proper equipment, that's all.
