That’s one thing I like about the Tidal’s, is the pump is below the water level, inside the tank, they self start, and go through the housing inside the tank, so no leaks… they are a completely different design, than the Aquaclear, and their copies… still not perfect, but are much more customizable, than anything else I’ve tried

Inside the tank, I did not know that. That sounds Like a good idea.

Yeah if it's heavy duty stock, you will want a filter rated for a much higher tank than a 75g even if the canister is saying it's good for a 75
That's one downside of Sunsun filters is I do find they slightly under perform in strength if you compare them to some of the powerhouse brands. As I said before, they do their job but they're also just okay.


I run my bigger tank off DIY pumps, that could be something to consider as well?
