pleco vs betta fry

Hi,

Would a pleco be okay in a ten gallon tank with the free swimming betta fry? Will he bother them at all?
Wouldn't want him to accidentally suck em up.

I don't know, I think a pleco would produce more waste than he cleans up How about an apple snail?

Well see, he's not there to clean, I had an oppsy with one of my tanks the other day and it broke, so this so happen to be around the same day my fry hatch and I just do not want any of them sucked up or eaten or whatever.

It will not be his permenent home. I have to replace the aquarium that was broken, and he will gleefully make that his happy new home.

But until then, do you think he could or would harm the fry?
