Hey,i currently have a l104 (clown pleco) and have found out about Wildwoods (and theyre wide range of plecs) and am goin there this saturday. I was wondering whether i could get a leopard frog pleco (L134) or would the 2 plecs quarrel and fight?
MAny thanks

Which tank is it for? If it's for the 70l, I dont think you could get away with any more fish in there. Unless you're planning on a big upgrade?

It would be for the 70,what if i got rid off the clown? I dont mean that in a nasty way but what if i took it back to the LFs i mean...

Dependant on the decor in the tank it could work. If there are enough places to hide they may co-exist peacefully.

I'd take the bala out of a 70L before i took the clown back though.

Cool, ill try that then and see how it goes with both the plecs. Theres tons of hiding places, some sort of slate cave,a bamboo tunnel thing and some hiding spots under the bogwood :D

Id say you could keep two SMALL plecos in a 70 liter tank. You would need mega filtration, Clowns are very messy.

Take the bala back; they need a 10ft + tank to be truly happy.

Thing is, if you think you have the space for another fish - you should really be thinking of companions for the shoaling fish you're already keeping in singles. The loach needs to be in a group of at least three - preferably five, the tetras in fives or more, and the cories in at least threesomes.

But you're already fully stocked, so if you were to do that, you'd need to either invest in a bigger tank, or rehome the ones that need to be in groups that you couldn't manage to make. Then maybe think of another plec. But personally, I'd go for a bigger tank first - you dont have to spend a fortune, there's second hand (Ebay bargains - definitely worth looking into) ;)
