What kind of plec is it? I have an albino one and there is times I think wait a sec he is not moving so I investigate and he shoots off. To be honest half the time I cant even find him. I had everything moved the other day as he went missing and after about 20 minutes I gave up looking then later on I spotted him swimming about.

They seem to love being glued to the spot most of the time so I wouldnt worry too much.

yeh my stats are fine and my tanks been running for 3 month now had no problems at all

no its been acting as normal ,and its stomache looked fine ,its swimming about as normal now

we really need the figures, ammonia? nitrite and nitrate? tank size, gal or litre? current stocking?

Type of pleco?

its a standard plec thats all i know i bought it for my daughter, its in with red finn tetres and they are all ok,thanks for your help i will check it all again when i get in from work tonight ,thanks for info

probs a common or gibby then, will out grow your tank unless its massive

but thinking about it, it could also be a BN they have a habit of lying on there backs, especially males

best way would be to get a piccy up if possible

My BN kinda of burried in the sand near my wood in the tank and now spends pretty much all day upside down stuck to the wood...
