No I would leave the other filter in the fishless cycle tank.
When I say a bacterial med I mean anti internal bacteria med by interpet, it's for bacterial infections.

Hi, all seems to be fine now, no more live bugs and no losses since beginning of Feb.

Down to about eight babies - better than none.

Woo Hoo, they are definately better now, I went to do a gravel clean and filter squish yesterday and noticed two pinkies - so mum and dad are "happy" again.

Don't know how many as yet it was their first day out - will post with piccies later.........

If you have fry better off putting some netting over the outlet tube with a rubber band to stop fry getting sucked into the filter.
