Plec Id Needed!

I'm pretty sure its not an ancistrus (bristlenose)
I'd say its one of the Pterygoplichthys species
common name?

i know i keep looking at the pic and looking at my bristle babies, looks spit of them , but also reminds me of something else,,arrrghh,,,nellys not good with plecs,not my fortae,, unsure.gif

its the second fin on each side that makes me think that it isn't a bristlenose

yep that first pic guarantees its one of the Pterygoplichthys species
and I'm gonna stick with my initial id of P.Joselimaianus

These guys get to at least 12inches by the way

nope your going to need a tank that is at least 250- 300litres to keep it happy for life.
your going to need a tank that is more than 12inches wide and for a fully grown very messy plec you will need a very good cannister filter
