This will probably end up getting deleted, as usual, but I'll try anyway.

Climbing Mt Blanc in the Summer, the highest peak in the Alps, for Cancer Research UK and REACT (Red Endangered Animal Connection Trust) which are getting a 50/50 split of the funds raised. Hoping to raise £4810, the height of Mt Blanc in metres! And I'm only 16, so if you could donate anything whatsoever to support me and these awesome charities I'd really appreciate it. You can find out more on the page below:

Cheers :)

fantastic effort, all the best with it.

Good luck..... I hope you reach your target with both the cash and the peak...... I've seen some documentaries on similar ventures and it is not easy to achieve..... You have to be super fit.... :good:

Thanks. I hope so too. I would say that I am super fit, running 6 days a week, a member of a running club, cycling 10 miles a day to sixth form and back, so I should be fine :)

you do sound fit.
but not to worry, anyway. even the radio one breakfast DJ got up Kilimanjaro. and nobody would say he was "super" fit. :hyper:
sorry, can't remember his name. nor any of his shows, come to think of it.

Thanks. I'm going to keep on getting fitter in the time between anyway. Entered a marathon for October, got a half marathon in 2 weeks, entered another half marathon, 2 10k's and a 50 mile bike ride the day after I get back from Mt Blanc (and there's a lot more to come!). Yeah, you're thinking of Chris Moyles! Everyone uses him as an example, I'd have imagined he had a lot of extra behind-the-scenes support though. As long as he doesn't smoke, being overweight shouldn't impact his fitness too greatly as apparantely he had quite a big tidal volume (lung capacity).
