Please Help! :( Parrot Fish, Bacteria Or Fungus Medicine Needed?

My tank is a 30 gallon.

Do they contribute to anything bad though? contaminate water/ raise levels of nitrates,nitrites, ammonia , etc in the tank?
Just curious.

I'm going to take it out though.

I'm still having a problem with raised Nitrites... hardly any Nitrates at all though...

I have 1.0 ppm of Nitrite in my fish tank water.

My biological bacteria isn't getting rid of it or converting it to Nitrates.
And I don't think water changes will help, because my tap water itself contains 1.0ppm of Nitrites.

Hmm, yeah sounds like your having bacterial problems then. Time for the internal filter then. And as soon as possible as those nitrites levels won't be good for the fish.
