Please don’t tell my phone, but my AI is stupid

Back in the fold ....TFF??? Turkish Football Federation??? I do not follow Turkish football anymore. I am comic guy from the 1990's have about 6,000 and some graphic novels too.
Comics eh ? Now we’re talking . I used to be a total Marvel Zombie but branched out and am better read now . Frank Miller and the whole Sin City thing was good . Peter Bagge is great and so is Ivan Brunetti . www.fantagraphics.com has a lot of the old EC stuff which I like . There’s a new Dick Tracy series out that would make Chester Gould proud and I just have to see that . Heavy Metal is publishing again now too .

Did you read the works of R. Crumb in your youth?

I love comics, I don't have any collection today (too heavy to move around)... :(

But I scanned them all and have 53,000 on my server.
I started collecting comics from 1989 to 1993 and have lots from the 1970's to the 90's. I also have a large TPB (graphic novels) as well. They ruined collecting in the 90's when they started multiple issues of the same comic with more than one cover, I have over 15,000 baseball cards to from the 70's to 90's. They ruined cards when they started special editions at 3 times the normal price. I love the smell of an old book or comic paper.

No, in my youth I was on our ranch and did nothing but fish and ride horses. When I got 14, I got a license and started chasing girls and driving fast cars. I a few years ago got into Doc Savage and have all his 60 plus books. I read old western paperbacks as well and collected 100's. I am a collector of many things from pottery to glass of all eras. I sold 12 tractors recently and still have 22 cars.

In the 1960’s I started collecting Marvel comics. I had Spider-Man 1-10 and Fantastic Four 1-5 among other treasures. I sold my collection in 1975 to help pay for medical school tuition. Had I been able to hold on to my collection I’d be a wealthy man. 😢

I was collecting from 1975 to 1990, I was given a lot of them from my cousins in the family, that incited me to buy more and finally work in a comic book store, I had series from the the 40's and 50's that would probably make you drool. (Well only scans remains) you wont be able to smell them, loll.

I was really a Conan geek I bought everything they put out for decades.

Yes , I did read Robert Crumb and also Gilbert Shelton who did The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers . Shelton just put out a new series of The Freak Brothers . Among my treasures is Crumb’s Illustrated Book of Genesis . A masterpiece !

CONAN ! “ Between the time the oceans drank Atlantis and the rise of the sons of Aryas , there was an age undreamed of . Where shining cities lay upon the earths mantle like jeweled crowns . And unto this came Conan - thief , riever , barbarian - one day to become a king by his own hand but to wear the crown upon a troubled brow . It is I alone , his chronicler , who can tell his tale . Let me tell you of the days of high adventure ! “ Oh man ! You are singing my song ! Savage Sword of Conan and the Barry Windsor Smith issues are my favorites . Crom . . . . . .

You would be, I have long runs of many popular Marvel comics, some DC some Blackhorse , some Image and lesser known companies, but Marvel is my favorite and 90% of my collection. I have a good many Werewolf and Crypt Keeper to. I have maybe 30 Marvel titles. A lot of the Stan Lee resurrected for movies later in life that were obscure until then.

The old guys started in Comic Strips and evolved into Comic Books. I have a lot of Conan and popular titles then, that died out, but still very good even today to read and the artwork is wonderful.

I had a letter printed in Thor once and was a member of The Merry Marvel Marching Society . Can anyone else make that claim ? Any other True Believers here ?
Yes, I have a lot of Thor, enough story lines for a lifetime and already blocked into scenes, waiting to be made into movies.

This is an interesting subculture to see popping up. Other than that I sold one of the first Batman comics to... buy a bag of potato chips when I was 11, I have no comics connections.

I had a thing about classics illustrated, as they showed good swordfights.

Savage sword.... I had every single one Curtis published in black and white then bought the whole colorized collection from marvel.

Comics and Aquariums,

I also followed Heavy metal, Mad and and a lot more of the stranger publications.

Since French is my first language I was able to dive in the European humor, And things like Gaston, Asterix, Genie des alpage and many others transduction are stupid compared to their originals, that are marvellous.
