Platys Or Guppies What Do You Prefer ?

hey there so i have platys atm but i used to have guppies and to be honest i prefer guppies there is so many different colors from them and seem more active around the tank dont get me wrong platys are still active to


so which do you prefer and why ?

Guppies are very hardy fish easy to keep and breed. can get all most any coluor and tale or fin shape. You can even try and fix a colour strain of your own

i am a platy lover..lots of different colours too and (apparently) easy to breed

I keep guppies and not platies but that is because my wife likes them. The fish that I keep for myself are simply not available in local fish shops but I must have that guppy tank to keep peace here at home.

i have platys and they dont stop flipping breeding ha but its not a problem they sell easily enough its just at times like this wen i want to change to guppies and i have about 3 really huge females about to pop any minute ha


but i only have the red platies with the black tail mickey mouse platy not to sure

i love guppies and will hopefully be getting them on the weekend

if there was a hybrid then i'd go for that, as i'm torn between the two.....

I like platies, they seem easier to breed, less aggressive, and they don't nip at my catfish like the guppies did.

I would prefer. Plates they are active a nice color and they sometimes play with there mirror

Guppies, out of having the two I find guppies more interesting, pretty, easier to care for, etc.
