Planted 40g Aquarium Journal

I had 15 in total. Now 14, but I have only been able to count up to 13... There's always that one...
I mean Betsy went missing for a few days but she popped back up today

That's even better. I would not get more now, reason earlier stated. And going forward, probably not in this tank with 14. This cory is commercially raised, not wild caught, and we know what this can do to the fish. Don't risk it.

Well the other corydoras I'd get would also be commercially raised... My LPS doesn't get wild caught specimens...
But 14 is a good amount I guess... A bit upset that I have one less in my group, but it will work

I think 1 loss out of 15 is pretty good odds. I personally wouldn't add more, I think that's a good number for Corydoras in that size tank

Yah, I guess... I know it sounds dumb probably but I REALLY wanted it either to be a multiple of 5 (15 or 20) or 16, cause I love that number...
Something about 14 irritates me and it's that way in my tank forever now... 😆

I understand this, though it is irrelevant here because of the number. I have always preferred odd numbers, so I will for example buy 9 or 11, not 10 most often, but in larger groups I don't worry. With smaller groups it is obvious, just as it is with a vase of flowers. It is however just a whim of mine, no scientific reasoning at all. Provided there are sufficient for the species' needs of course.

You are what's in the UK affectionately known as a 'wally' 😂

I'm nick naming one of the female gudgeons "Firecracker"... Multiple reasons... One, she's a jerk and goes off on all the other gudgeons in the tank, two, she doesn't have a black spot on her tail at all and instead her tail end is like an explosion of yellow and orange.

I looked it up and it means: "Stupid/foolish/idiot"... I'm going to assume there is another meaning? Orrr...
I don't know where you found that but the definition is not to that extreme, I certainly would not say you were an idiot...just a wally 😁

Like literally every site I saw said that's what it meant 😂
Lol... Ok... Whatever "wally" means 😆

Was testing out the new food I got today and WOW they love it!

A lot of times my gudgeons like to chill with my corydoras... This is Admiral Nemo with one of the sterbai:

And Henry, the huge male gudgeon found a new hidey spot he likes lol:

Three different videos of my sterbai corydoras and peacock gudgeons at feeding time this morning

Henry finally came out long enough to get some pictures... He's a big guy...

This last pic looks like the one before except flash was on by accident.
I use a multi shot feature where it takes tons of photos and you can select what you want...
It works nicely with a fish that moves a lot...
I love how the flash brings out his blues and reds

Here's a small recap and update on my Pothos cuttings for this tank.

On all pictures from left to right is: All Tank Water, Tank/Tap Water, All Tap Water

April 30th (just set up cuttings):

May 1st (second day and the plants already seem to be doing better)

May 7th (leaves doing really well and the new ones are starting to unfurl, although sadly no roots growing):

That is a really good idea to run the stems through the bottle lid. I will have to try that next time I am rooting something.

I looked it up and it means: "Stupid/foolish/idiot"... I'm going to assume there is another meaning? Orrr...
I also found the synonyms silly, inept, airhead, birdbrain, blithering, idiot, blockhead, dullard, dummy, dunce, head muppet, mutt, idiom, nimrod, simpleton, and stupid.
