Plant Index Updates

Hello everybody,

I just went over the Plants Index at TFF, found here.

There is a specific format that I'd like to adhere to and I've noticed that the following plants do not have corresponding images.

Java fern
Java mossa
Eleocharis Parvula
Marimo ball
Ceratopteris thallictroides

If you'd like to contribute images, simply hit "reply" to the original post. The image will go under mod review and if it looks good, it will go up. We prefere images from your actual aquariums.

Other profiles could use some additional information or a better image including

Duckweek - better image

Please feel free to contribute to this section. This is our database. The more complete it is, the better it will be. Eventually, I want so many species covered that I want to merge posts based on plant type or find some way to organize the posts based alphabetically. Right now, the order is somewhat random.

Hey, not sure if you wanted a picture of a single plant or not, gut i just dug up an old photo of my tank with java moss on bogwood and on slate and on a coconut (i think) and a marimo ball.

Oh how my tanks changed...

Found this of some of my java moss, although its not in the best of conditions

A close-up of the coconut with the moss and a close-up of the marimo ball would be great. Thanks. The full-tank shot, though lovely, isn't large enough to show the detail of the plants.

Yeah, i thought so... I no longer have most of those plants, that was just what i dug up.

I have just got some E.Acicularis (how coincedental )which could go on the parvula database. There isnt much difference except from height, and miine is short anyway lol.
I'll just wait until it gets a bit more lush

I may have a picture of moss balls (oh the embarassment) on my computer, i'll check tomorrow.

Jave Fern 'philiippine'. Only difference is the leaves are a little more hammered. the 'six pack' effect down the centre is what I mean

Edit: Well Geof took care of the java moss nicely! SO I will post the Ceratopteris AKA:Water Sprite
