Fry will be interesting, could be white, with high fins and blue eyes! What a combo lol.

The colours on the camera screen look so different to the laptop. That male cherry barb is bright brilliant red but in this pic he looks dull

Ok so I am going to rescape my 95L. Everything out, fry in the other tank, adults in the bucket with the heater. Should be fine for a couple of hours. Will let you know how I get on.

Just back from my landladys house-next time I go over when she gives me her guppies, I am taking the camera with me. I have never seen peppered cories this big in my life. She has 2 tanks of cories, the rare C124s, wild ones, gold laser ones, black ones, panda ones. I went to pick up her bronze and albinos. The bronze are doing the infamous t-shape already, if I see any eggs I will remove them as the barbs will just eat them! Will put a pic up of the newly scaped tank soon.

I am very happy with it now, moved the branch right upto the top the fish have more room and are a lot happier. I did it for the cories really so they have space to shuffle around. Will leave it like this for the time being! All the fry are in the fry tank. Will move the 2 platy fry back into the tank but leave the rest in there just now. Will see if doing daily water changes and feeding 3-4 times a day makes them grow faster.

Thanks. I was upto my elbows in tank water most of the day yesterday! Happy with the way it turned out!

Just had another panic moment! Switched the fry tank off to do the water change, switched it back on and the filter was completely dead. Didn't know what to do and started getting frantic. Took the fuse out of an old lamp and swapped it with the filter fuse and it started working. Thank god for that! Panic over once again lol.

In their new home. Since putting them in here and doing water changes twice a day the colours really coming along. I think I have been putting them in the main tank too soon, and they have only been getting weekly water changes.

I have been doing some reading and it looks like I have had my main tank temp too high. According to some sites, guppies and platies like the temp around 24. I have been gradually lowering 1 degree per hour as it will benefit the cories too. 
They seem to have the same temp 24 degrees for the algae eaters, the guppies, the cherry barbs and the platies.

The temp in my tank is now at 24 degrees. The fish are so much more active and the cories are out all the time so I think it's successful!

I know! They are so comical! I had 6 of the ambiacus and 2 of the rare ones, they died after I moved and I just had the 1 albino which my landlady gave me,. now he has 6 friends to play with!

I have some more good news, my cories seem to have laid eggs! I hope they survive this is a first!
