Hi- I was in our local pet store the other day- and saw some beautiful tiny pink frogs in an aquarium. This was totally new to me- I Would like to know more about them, and how to care for them, if i decide to get some? Can anyone help me?

first of welcome to the forum. never heard of pink frogs before, makes me think they are dyed which makes me advice you against buying them. dying is very stressful for the fish it includes removing there slimecoat and injecting them with ink, for the few you sam there was probably 10,000 or so dyed but the rest sadly died because of this. please don't buy them it isn't fair on them and if you do buy them its just like you support the whole dying situation :(

I SAW THEM TOO!!!! lol i was at my local chain store 2 days ago and saw them for the first time,, very neat looking but as said possably dyed, in which case u decide which is morally right, to buy or not to... if ur even considering that is:p

try googling it maybe..?

Can someone post a picture? I haven't seen these in my area yet and I sure hope not to.

albinos kinda have a pinky look to them? well i saw a peachy one anyway and i kno it wasnt dyed.

i guess if it was flouresent then its definitly dyed :|

They are called Albino Clawed Frogs, they are very easy to care for and grow to 4 inches,

the big one is a African Clawed frog and the small one in the corner is an Albino which is only a few months old. they eat freez dried bloodworms crickets and they can be fed feeder fish that are smaller than them if you want them to become agresive. they are very fun to own, best luck.

Actually mine ate a feeder minnow that was one and a half times his size...

no the ones i saw were def pink almost but not quite neon...
